Located in Hereford, UK, the Iqarus Immersive Training Centre provides 8,000 sq. ft. of dynamic simulation space designed to recreate the conditions and pressures personnel may face in real-world operational environments.
Training scenarios combine realistic physical environments with the sights, sounds and environmental conditions of an unfolding incident. Special effects, audio-visual systems, professional role players, anatomically accurate prosthetics and medical simulation can be used to create immersive scenarios that test clinical decision-making, teamwork and operational performance under pressure.
The adaptable training space can recreate environments ranging from road traffic collisions and damaged urban infrastructure to the climatic extremes of arctic, desert and jungle settings. Scenarios can be configured around specific organisational requirements, enabling teams to practise, test and validate skills, procedures and ways of working in a controlled environment.
