Two of the world’s largest humanitarian and aid organisations needed a Covid-19 medical treatment facility with ICU care in Afghanistan.
We fitted out the pre-existing building to meet the scope for a 10 bed treatment facility. Staffed, equipped and operate the facility to provide multidisciplinary medical support including Primary Health Care and all ancillary support services – COVID-19 PCR testing capability, radiology, laboratory, bloods, medications, and consumables.

The pre-existing building was fitted out to meet the scope for a Covid-19 treatment facility with ICU care. The facility also provides RT-PCR testing with inpatient services to include low dependency, high dependency and intensive care with life support and mechanical ventilation. The facility is staffed by two ICU physicians and four critical care nurses, three local nurses, two local laboratory technicians and one X-ray technician.
