We deployed a qualified medical practitioner with experience in Djibouti and in occupational health medical screenings, to conduct a detailed audit of a multinational engineering client’s on-site medical capability. The assessment entailed a physical inspection of the facilities and equipment, and a review of processes, staffing levels and certifications. The evaluated criteria were in line with the Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards for Hospitals (7th edition 1 Jan 2021). The outcomes of the Site Health Review included:
The flagging of critical issues relating to equipment and medication, trained staff and other factors that could affect patient outcomes.
Providing a rating for the quality and appropriateness of Occupational Health services offered at the client’s medical facility.
Providing an actionable list of recommendations based on the key findings and identified gaps in medical services and resources.
