Our Medical Assistance Teams (MATs) provide routine daily care and emergency medical care to one of the world’s largest humanitarian agencies in Ethiopia.
Our services include Preventative Health Measures, Primary Health Care, Emergency Care and medical evacuations from the point of illness or injury to the designated point of stabilisation via Ground Ambulance.
The team also provides Medical Training including, but not limited to, first responder training, malaria prevention advice, food and water hygiene advice and COVID-19 prevention measures.

The teams works in direct support of UNHCR’s and other UN entities and NGO front-line workers, to help ensure continued delivery of their critical humanitarian work in the conflict affected region of Tigray, Ethiopia.
The Iqarus MAT provides daily care and emergency medical care through the patient care pathway, including preventative health measures, primary health care, emergency care and CASEVAC from the point of illness or injury to the designated point of stabilisation via ground ambulance.
The team also provides medical training including, but not limited, to first responder training, malaria prevention advice, food and water hygiene advice and Covid-19 prevention measures.
