To fully re-model, staff and equip a Role 2 DCS facility at Mogadishu airport in Somalia.
The EU launched a training mission (EUTM Somalia) involving over 140 EU military personnel, supporting a range of operations.
As with all EUTM Missions an essential requirement was the ability to provide medical care to deployed staff.
Despite the challenging nature of the project, we were able to offer solutions which allowed us to deliver on time and in budget. And a fully re-modelled, staffed, equipped and compliant Role 2 DCS facility was launched. All local and international medical standards were fully complied with, and the facility provided high-quality surgical care, with arguably some of the best medical equipment in Somalia.
