One of the world’s largest humanitarian agencies needed an outpatient facility with consulting room and one bed observation room for short term stabilisation in Afghanistan.
We fitted out the pre-existing building to meet the scope for a OPD treatment facility. The facility provides primary and emergency healthcare including, medical first aid and guidance, basic wound care and immobilisation, treatment of minor wounds and common illnesses, provision of ambulance and referral to the next level of services – coordinating the response and movement of the patient to the airport for repatriation if required.

The facility is staffed by a doctor, a nurse, and a temporary local nurse.
